Fantastic to see this piece published by Joanna Goodman, Independent Journalist and Writer, who attended the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on AI Ethics and Accountability, chaired by Lord Robin Janvrin.
As an Expert in front of the APPG on AI in the House of Lords in March 2018, I presented evidence on AI ethics, responsibility and accountability. The APPG considered three questions about AI and human responsibility:
• How do we make ethics part of business decision-making processes?
• How do we assign responsibility for algorithms?
• What auditing bodies can monitor the ecosystem?
