I was delighted to be interviewed by Sally Todd, President of the City Women Network, to explore what is the role of business leaders in driving diversity and inclusion in the work place. Sally asked me a series of thought-provoking questions such as:
- Why do you think substantial barriers to the development of the nation’s top talent continue to prevail and how can we banish them?
- Why do you think resistance still exists to men AND women joining in a common endeavour to address inequality? How can we realistically address such bias, implicit or explicit?
- What can female leaders do to encourage and equip the next generation of (male and female) contributors to business?
We had such a great Q&A session together which was published in full in the latest CWN Newsletter on 20th September 2018, the day the FT/HERoes published their 2018 lists of Top Female and Male Executives supporting equality in the workplace.
